What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Helper position at Elawns Landscape Maintenance?
Duties: Please be reliable, necessary
This is great for someone who is looking for part time work Monday- Friday with salary base pay with bonus pay to take on more responsible projects at $25-$50/hr on top of base pay. Some days will be 2 hrs of work and some will be 8hrs of work depending on volume. Some will be 25 hour weeks. Will need to start work right away.
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding, this will be conducted everyday for commercial and residential. Will be driving with the team leader.
- Build and install landscape features such as pathways, fences, if has experience, sod, low maintenance landscape installations
- Irrigate plants and maintain irrigation systems
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other garden elements
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching and fertilizing
Experience: no experience needed if reliable
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation
- Experience in hardscape construction is a plus
Bonus opportunities to take on more responsible duties.
Ex. $50 an hour for a project
Base Salary Pay: $800 Monthly
