Quality Control Technician

Electroninks is quickly expanding and is seeking an experienced, full-time Quality Control Technician to join our Production Team! The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, and has a desire to learn.

In this role, you will perform a variety of Quality Control duties, including but not limited to, product testing, result analysis, and SOP creation . To be successful in this role, you will have a working knowledge of data characterization, wet lab chemistry, and/or chemical manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Characterize conductive inks by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to measure the following ink properties: viscosity, solid content, conductivity, film thickness, color and pH
• Record characterization data in the proper locations, both on a hard copy and electronically
• Keep a clean workspace and perform routine preventative maintenance on characterization equipment
• Assist in analyzing data and generating reports to maintain quality assurance
• Follow all laboratory safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where necessary
• Participate in weekly team meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferred, or a minimum of 2 years relative experience.
• Experience in wet chemical laboratory or chemical manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivation and a desire to learn new things
• Ability to work well with a small and diverse team
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
