Machine Operator
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working team player who wants to contribute to the overall growth of the business. This role is responsible for operating a fast-paced production line. This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, operating, and maintaining all production equipment including but not limited to; Speedlifts, Hoppers, Tilt-Up Stands, Tilt-Up Pots, Feeder Stations, Feeder Stations and Casters.
Essential Duties:
- Set up machine(s) with knowledge of equipment and tools needed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate all machine(s) in a safe manner consistent with Company safety policies.
- Maintain clean machine(s) by following Company safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform daily cleaning on all machines using appropriate equipment and tools.
- Follow all work instructions provided by Supervisor Machine Operator and/or Plant Manager to ensure proper operation of all equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities including but not limited to: working with minimal supervision; prioritizing tasks; completing work without errors; working with little direct interaction with other employees but must communicate with supervisors and/or Plant Manager.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.09 - $20.00 per hour
