Pharmacy Benefit Manager Analyst
Location: Hybrid, 0-3 times/month in office

Responsible for translating basic business needs into application system requirements.
How you will make an impact:
- Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Determines specific business application requirements to address specific business needs.
- Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into pharmacy claims system design and testing.
- Acts as liaison with users of the system to address questions/issues.
- Perform data analyses and prepare formulary/clinical rule change files.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
- One year or more Excel experience working with large data files and other general reporting tools.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours during peak times or in response to urgent requests.
- Be able to research issues, validate own work and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Pharmacy technician license and experience.
- Highly organized and ability to function in environment with 100% accuracy requirements, very high level of attention to detail, multiple concurrent demands, and short turnaround times.
- Strong preference for formulary, clinical rules, pharmacy claims analysis, and/or prior authorization experience for a pharmacy benefit manager or health plan.
- Experience identifying and driving process improvements.
- Ability to work independently on certain tasks and with team members on other tasks.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $57,200 to $102,960.
