The Pharmaceutical Contract Strategies team is looking to hire a Pharmacy Rebate Program Director . This high-performing individual contributor will work to establish and facilitate medical rebate operations for a newly contracted client. This position will be responsible for the successful setup, launch, and ongoing execution of medical rebate operations, including setting up completed medical rebate contract details into the rebate system, ensuring claims files are received and processed for all clients, adjudicating claims details against contract parameters, and establishing timely and accurate related reporting.
This position can work in a hybrid way from any Elevance Health corporate office.
Responsible for reporting, auditing, and monitoring the pharmacy rebate/discount programs. How you will make an impact:
Ensures claims files received and processed in a timely manner
Ensures contracted rates and conditions discounts are set up appropriately
Sets up reconciliation processes
Understands rebate calculations and variances in support of all rebate analysis
Functions as a liaison between the rebate unit and other internal and external teams
Requires a BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the rebate field and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of medical drug details, medical claims processing, and medical benefit drug supply chain.
- Experience with similar invoicing and collections processes.
- Experience with Pharma drug contracts, manufacturer rebates, and the analytics and operations related to these rebates.
- Experience inside the pharmaceutical supply chain, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business, or a Health Plan
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $102,800 to $184,040
