Description

Title: Domain Architect Executive

Location: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; Mason, OH

Senior level Enterprise Solution Architect, responsible for complex, cross-domain solutions that incorporate diverse technology and multiple architectural patterns and strategies based on the business goals and objectives.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Crafting solution designs that incorporate all aspects of technology delivery based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new solutions towards implementation and optimal usage.
  • Establishing overall solutions architecture vision and ensuring specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Maintaining components of architectural strategy and vision.
  • Defining architecture standards and anticipating areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards.
  • Directing the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture) in collaboration with teams of architects, analysis and developers.
  • Leading the certification of Enterprise Solutions by providing quality review and actionable feedback on architectural solutions created by architects throughout the organization.
  • Leading teams of IT and business representatives to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures.
  • Defining systems, technical, and application architectures for new strategic initiatives; understands and contributes to architectural blueprints and evolutionary roadmaps that defines and communicates the strategic direction and applies them to executing project work
  • Driving the guidance provided by roadmaps and architecture strategies into solutions to promote cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness
  • Supporting and championing architecture efforts with cross-functional knowledge (e.g., strategy, change management, business process management).
  • Using metrics and insight into IT environment to assess the health of solutions and enforce alignment to target architecture blueprints.
  • Maintains domain-level blueprints and ensures blueprints are refreshed as needs emerge or in accordance to POR changes.
  • Assists in the definition of business and IT recovery operating environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:
  • Experience in health care industry strongly preferred.
