The HRIS Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's human resource information using the most efficient and cost-effective technology systems and applications. Utilizing technology applications, drives data reporting and business intelligence efforts to assist HR and business leaders maximize talent in furtherance of company strategy. Researches, analyzes, designs and maintains information systems in support of human resource strategy and associated project initiatives. Monitors HR information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet changing requirements. Directly responsible for HRIS and payroll operations in the United States and has strategic oversight and governance for HRIS platforms globally.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of all HRIS systems including general HR, payroll, global reporting and time and attendance systems, in addition to auxiliary systems that support the HR function for processing, recordkeeping and communications.
  • Research and analyze best practices and system designs to accomplish company objectives and established HR KPIs and metrics on a global scale.
  • Direct a consistent data reporting and business intelligence effort to maximize insights in company talent opportunities across all business units.
  • Direct and maintain both a short-term and long-term comprehensive technology plan to address both operational and strategic HR and business needs.
  • Partner with HR team and businesses to develop strategy and create and administer structural policy matters related to HRIS and HR data.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data and maintaining high standards of system governance and policies.
  • Oversee payroll processing for US locations in compliance with local, state and federal regulations to include hourly and salary payrolls, tax filing, GL reporting, garnishment administration and other items related to payroll processing and reporting. Oversee and maintain file imports and exports with benefit vendors and other HR partners.
  • Manage HR Connections Center staff and provide guidance on administration of company policy, employee benefits, and other HR inquiries directed to the HR Connections Center, in coordination with other HR Shared Services areas.
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation for efficient and best practices implementation to support the company’s manufacturing locations and businesses worldwide.
  • Oversee all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with system vendor and internal customer for efficient and cost-effective system operations.
  • Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws, specific to different global regions.
  • As needed, oversee evaluation and selection of new vendors and oversee the implementation of new systems or modules within existing systems.
  • Responsible for HR data migration and integration related to company mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or other relevant field.
  • 5 years’ experience managing HRIS systems. Experience with large, multinational company preferred.
  • Detailed understanding of current US payroll compliance and regulations; knowledgeable of US payroll tax filing and regulations.
  • Experience in processing larger payrolls for multiple legal entities across multiple states. Working knowledge of payroll and time and attendance systems, Ultipro and Kronos preferred.
  • Proficient in data analytics, data mining and complex reporting including Cognos and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent project management skills; very organized and detail-oriented; able to prioritize and work across simultaneous projects and work responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
