JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the Facility, Membership & Programming at the Mojave Fitness Center to ensure smooth operations and reports to the Project Manager. Responsible for participating in programming and events in order to ensure optimal performance. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards. Provides safe, motivating, and effective exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Oversees all facility operations, membership, programming, social media, marketing
- Fitness & Member Services
- Group Exercise instruction (in-person/virtual)
- Customer service
- Facility tours, equipment orientations, fitness assessments, personalized exercise prescriptions
- Personal training (in-person/virtual)
- Community Outreach - Work closely with the Regional Director of Business Innovation
- Scheduling and attending physical business visits and initiating email/phone contacts
- Membership promotions/marketing
- Focus on new business relationships/ members with outreach
- Corporate memberships
- Program promotions/marketing
- Ex: regular stretch breaks, 1-week free, stretch & safety presentation
- Research companies in the community and surrounding areas
- Group Fitness/Programming
- Group exercise instruction (in-person/virtual)
- Develop weekly/monthly in-person/virtual group fitness schedule
- Update group fitness schedule monthly into Boost Portal and on website
- Create group fitness schedule programming and structure to maximize effectiveness of classes
- Create accountability challenges for participants
- Track and report group fitness statistics and use this data to include in quarterly report and develop future schedules
- Coordinate group fitness coverage and finding coverage for classes
- Work with Project Manager on recruiting/hiring new group fitness instructors (including interviewing, auditions & training)
- Develop and edit group fitness rules and regulations regularly
- Work with Project Manager on ensuring all instructors sign and acknowledge
- Encourage member participation in programs, group fitness classes and events

- Assist in coordinating annual programming plan

- Create agenda for monthly meeting with Project Manager and Elevation Team
- Prepare and complete quarterly report - Membership & Programming
- SWOT & COE
- Host and run weekly staff meetings with onsite team - create agendas before each meeting
- Equipment Maintenance and Management
- Overall cleaning and maintenance
- Organize/prioritize equipment request list
- Audit cleaning and equipment related trackers to ensure compliance
- Schedule and coordinate quarterly equipment maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS
- CPR and AED certification - required
- National personal training certification - required
- BS in Exercise Science or a related field - preferred
- Group exercise certification - plus
- Wellness & Nutrition Coaching experience - plus
