Job Summary:

The R D Admin is responsible for filling the finished good (samples made each day) into the specified package, assembling all needed documentation for the shipment, and shipping the package to the client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare shipments to send to customers/testing.
  • Prepares all necessary paperwork to accompany lab samples.
  • Coordinate bulk batches needed for testing and/or additional samples after formula approvals.
  • Maintain certain information project management database.
  • Email CE team/BD team daily to notify them of sample shipments to their respective customers.
  • Making corrections/ensuring corrections were made to formula changes that happened on the bench.
  • Work closely with CE team/BD team daily to notify them of sample shipments to their respective customers.
  • Coordinate with the BD Team on shipping iBox shipments.
  • Route master formula's when purchase orders are received.
  • Performs clerical tasks in the laboratory.
  • Starts the FWV process.
  • Filing formulas.
  • Manages shipments, including samples and all necessary documentation.
  • Filling completed batches as needed for samples shipping to customer or for testing purposes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Ability to meet timelines and prioritize job tasks.

Knowledge & Skills:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks in a short amount of time.
  • Writes legibly.
  • Performs basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Performs work using good organizational and time management skills.
  • Performs work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers, mainly word and excel.
  • Works with minimum supervision.
  • Performs tasks requiring manual dexterity and use of tools and equipment parts.
  • Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of Cosmetic manufacturing preferred

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Regularly/Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend
  • Regularly/Frequently use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate tools
  • Regularly reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally/Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and, infrequently, up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone
  • Requires composure and ability to prioritize and handle many urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality
