THE ROLE
The HR Coordinator is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our business, while assisting the HR Generalist with a variety of HR operations. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
The responsibilities of the position are (but are not limited to):
- Prepares and processes employee personnel records to include updating records as needed.
- Maintains sound employee relations through consistent personal contact.
- Assist with government entities requests (i.e. unemployment, workers compensation, etc.).
- Supporting the HR Generalist in educating employees and enforcing company policies.
- Supporting the HR Generalist with any special (ad hoc) project they need assistance with.
- Scheduling meetings, events, interviews, etc.
- Generating reports on general HR activity.
- Communicating with payroll for pay discrepancies.
- Assist with the onboarding process, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required. A degree in HR is preferred but equivalent experience in HR will be considered.
- 3 years of HR related experience required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Start up/fast paced culture experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- San Diego local candidates preferred.
- Remote position until the foreseeable future.

Salary : $35,000 - $45,000
