Position Overview:
As the Senior Director of Sales at Elevo Learning, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive new business and expansion growth. You will lead a high-performing sales team, foster key client relationships, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership, exceptional strategic thinking, and a passion for educational technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market penetration targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales tactics.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Oversee the negotiation and closure of high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust strategies and tactics, ensuring optimal sales performance and growth.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Integration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and market demands.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials, product enhancements, and customer success initiatives.
- Market Expansion and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including untapped segments and geographical regions.
- Develop and implement strategies for market expansion, including partnerships, alliances, and new business ventures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in education with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, managing large teams, and driving business growth.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on coaching, development, and motivation.
- Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to analyze market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Communication: Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Acumen: Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
