What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Electrical Engineer position at Eliassen Group?
Hybrid | Austin | 3 days per week onsite
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Sr Electrical Engineer with our client in Austin.
Direct Hire plus 15% sign on bonus. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Requirements of the Sr Electrical Engineer:
- 3 years of experience in electronic hardware development/power electronics
- Must have good understanding of hardware electronic designs and power electronics
- Hands-on experience working in a high-voltage laboratory environment. preferred
- Experience in the testing of power converters is required
- Experience with C /C#
- Excellent problem solving, research and analysis and technical skills
- Able to read and design circuit schematics
- Experience with project planning and task management systems such as MS Project and Jira
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applicable equivalent engineering is required
