Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom WordPress sites with modern page builder.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth navigation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Ensure website security and work with support team to perform regular updates and maintenance.
- Work directly with clients throughout be buildout process to deliver the client’s vision.
- Participate in initial sales calls / meetings to gather information and provide guidance regarding project planning and estimate hours required.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Designer/Developer with a keen eye for aesthetics
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work and projects.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of website optimization tools and techniques (e.g., caching, CDN).
