Elite Contracting Group is looking for Construction Equipment Operator to help with their construction Divison working out of our Petersburg location.

Equipment Operator will work under a Foreman/Crew Lead and perform various assigned manual duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Skill operating and maintaining an excavator will be their primary focus. However, you may be asked to operate other equipment as needed.
- Will perform manual labor and use hand and power tools, such as measuring tape, shovels, and drills when not operating equipment.
- Ability to work in diverse conditions at various sites, including exposure to the outdoors, weather in all seasons, and insects
- Will perform manual labor for 10 hours a day at least five days a week; Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- A valid driver’s license
- A valid equipment operator certificate
- Must successfully pass an Operating Field Test before hire
- Must successfully pass a 12-panel drug screen and random testing
- Good balance and physical strength with the ability to lift, push and carry 50 – 70 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation along with good attendance.
