Position will require the abilities to understand the set up and operation of moderate to high level metal fabrication equipment. Skills included within competency matrix include:

The integration of programs (including axis adjustments), equipment setup and adjustments, and the understanding and use of operational controls of the Laser.
- Set-up fixtures, adjust fixtures as needed
- bring up progams
- change head
- set x/y axis
- set B and C axis
- knowledge of how the axis moves (positive/negative)
- completes nozzle alignments and tape shots.
- make program changes to make part to print specifications
- knows and understands all operational controls on the Laser
- locate and identify all dies and tooling used at the Laser
- maintain inventory or laser spart parts

- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating and assembling of products. Makes adjustments to equipment and or programs during trial run and during production to maintain proper operations, dimensions and quality of product.
Testing will be administered to assess candidate’s competencies required for the position.
