Job Posting for Mechanical Assembler at Ellicott Dredge Technologies
Do you enjoy tinkering with car engines? Do you have an interest in mechanics? Work in a family friendly work environment building heavy machinery that is used all over the world to dredge river ways. Monday through Thursday 6 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks related to heavy equipment assembly. This individual will possess knowledge and experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic systems.
Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation
- Completes work area set up
- Fits parts together in accordance with company requirements and quality standards
- Operates hand tools as required to complete assembly process
- Must be able to read a tape measure and blue prints
- Operates fork lift
- Maintains clean and orderly work environment
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures and rules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
