Responsibilities:
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
- Promotes safety and quality at all times.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
- Ability to follow verbal commands and leadership direction.
- Average understanding of use for tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications and documentation to perform the primary function of the job.
- Able to learn the processes for repairs.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
- Basic knowledge and capacity to learn how to use various measuring devices: micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other required tools necessary to perform the job.
- Able to learn to accurately measure and record all dimensional inspections as needed and pass annual dimensional inspection tests within a reasonable amount of time.
- Able to learn and process documentation associated with turbo machinery such as inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Accepts ownership over work performance and works to improve skill set.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 1-3 year’s experience with rotating turbo machinery
- Experience with rigging
