Education, Experience & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s or Technical degree in an Engineering related field is preferred
- Practical experience with manufacturing welded products (5 years required)
- Practical experience with welding processes and weld shop flow (3 years preferred)
- Working knowledge of automated cladding process and fabrication welding
- Working knowledge of NDE processes, including their advantages and limitations
- Must be fluent with computer systems and software (Microsoft Office, Database Systems, etc.)
- A high level of communication skills required with shop personnel, management, engineering, vendors and customers

Manufacturing Coordinator
- Full understanding of process, procedures and systems used at C&J Cladding for all responsible functions
- Creates jobs within ERP system following defined processes to communicate proper instructions to production for successful execution of orders
- Provide accurate and timely communication to customers on delivery dates upon receipt of orders
- Provide updates in scheduling system and to customers based on production feedback
- Set up witnesses as needed for jobs as scheduled
- Perform analysis of jobs utilizing the scheduling data base to provide feedback and improvements to both Operations and Sales/Estimating
- Maintain impeccable record keeping of all documentation
- Ensure assigned projects, both internal and external, are completed according to the schedule in accordance with the customer’s requirements
- Manage relationships with external vendors to support manufacturing (requesting quotes, requesting purchase orders, arranging shipping, managing workflow)
- Support C&J internal process development and CAPEX projects as required
- Learn and understand manufacturing processes and procedures then develop improvements to increase throughput within operations
- Work with the Quality department to identify and develop existing and new vendors as required
- Provide support as a backup to other roles internally at C&J Cladding as business conditions require
- Acceptance and closing of C&J Production PO’s within ERP
- Maintaining online vendors for Production
