About the Position: Elm City Cheese is seeking a Warehouse Manager to independently handle all warehouse operations including managing and tracking inventory, managing and tracking equipment maintenance, unloading and loading materials in the warehouse and new cooler and perform a variety of other warehouse tasks. The position is responsible for moving products from warehouse shelves to/from pallets, with a pallet jack or forklift, following stacking policies to prevent product damage.

Job Requirements:
- OSHA certified forklift operator with minimum 3 years of experience and certification. Must be able operate the forklift in tight spaces. Must be able to use hand truck and power jack and forklift (up to 4,000 lbs).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse
- Excellent attention to numbers and details for shipping, receiving and inventory purposes.
- Excellent record keeping skills for inventory purposes and for forklift maintenance.
- Good basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Safety first mindset.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience with a business in the food industry a plus.
Essential functions:
· Reads work orders, shipping orders, or follows instructions.
· Loads and unloads materials into or from vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.
· Receives, dispatches, and contributes to the management of warehouse stock and oversees and administers distribution operations.
· Develops and coordinates warehouse operating procedures for shipping and receiving of materials.
· Checks and documents incoming stock and reconciles inventory in the warehouse management system.
· Handles communication between freight companies and warehouse customers and adjusts customer orders for unavailable product.
· Picks merchandise for shipment according to current orders.
· Uses a headset or pick sheet to locate items within the warehouse.
· Verifies product and quantity accuracy.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds. Must be able to stand 80% of the day.
