The Account Executive will be in charge of selling directly to school districts, charter schools, and other educational facilities. The position will include prospecting, presenting to mid-level and C-level leadership, helping negotiate contracts, helping fulfill contracts, and other sales and marketing responsibilities. Pay is base plus commission with a flexible schedule and great potential.


Primary Responsibilities:


  1. Develop relationships with school admins in your territory
  2. Prospect and nurture a pipeline of opportunities
  3. Demo eLuma's proprietary software and solutions
  4. Sign on new accounts
  5. Help follow through on new contracts
  6. Work with the implementation team to get new accounts up and running
  7. Rapidly build territory through thoughtful, consultative sales that position our clients for success
  8. Source, develop, and close leads through conferences, email, and marketing generated leads
  9. Partner with Marketing to drive marketing qualified leads in your territory
  10. Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with decision makers in your territory
  11. Write, present, and execute a territory plan
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Experience in selling to K-12 school districts or other education entities 
  • Experience with pipeline management
  • Special education experience appreciated
  • Understanding of SalesForce and Google Apps preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must live in the midwest
  • Ability to travel up to 35% for team meetings, conferences, events, etc.
  • Attending conferences and or meetings is an essential part of this role, which may require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination per CDC guidelines
