About the role:

As US Retail Sales Manager, your role sits within our US Sales and Marketing Team, reporting to the US General Manager. Working alongside our existing retail sales lead, you will be responsible for leading sales strategy for our large retail accounts, ensuring that we expand distribution and grow business in a sustainable way that optimises profit.
You'll be a strategic, passionate and dynamic sales leader, with proven experience of scaling large retail channels, ideally in CPG or technology companies. This is an exciting opportunity that offers the freedom to apply your commercial acumen and initiative to help drive the business.
Location: Remote but candidates will ideally be based in Northeast as the team regularly get together. Due to working hours with a UK team, we are unable to consider West Coast candidates.
Employment type: Permanent (please note, you must have the right to work in the USA)
Salary: Within the range of $130,000-$145,000 USD

Requirements
What you'll be doing at Elvie:
- Owning and leading the growth of key segments of our retail channel in a sustainable manner for both existing and new products
- Managing all stages of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
- Working closely with our marketing team to grow the sell-in and sell-out of our existing key accounts
- Managing all assigned client projects to an exceptional standard
- Developing deep relationships within your channel, increasing awareness and advocacy about Elvie Products
- Improving profitability of key accounts, effectively managing budget and optimising ROI
- Owning all aspects of the P&L from Gross Sales to Contribution Margin
- Driving the creation of joint business plans with all large retail key account partners
- Working cross-functionally to integrate the retail customers into the overall consumer

- Developing strategies to grow and serve other segments of the US retail market
- 8 years of sales experience in CPG or technology companies
- Extensive knowledge and experience of managing large retail sales channels/ accounts (e.g. Walmart, Target) and generating significant and sustained growth
- Ability to run the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
- Experience navigating complex sales process and multi-stakeholder purchasing
- Proven track record of delivering on ambitious growth targets
- High degree of commercial and business acumen, strong negotiation skills
- Strong influencing skills to effectively manage interdependencies and projects with other teams
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
