The Role You Will Play: Recruiting Manager
- Identify, screen, qualify and successfully place candidates for client hiring needs as well as lead a team of Professional Recruiters to do the same
- Learn, execute, and enforce Elwood Professional’s recruitment process
- Lead Professional Recruiters in the following activities while monitoring performance, looking for process improvements, and coaching Recruiters along the way
- Review and understand job requirements for specific clients
- Create detailed and attraction-based job descriptions
- Source candidates that meet job requirements using job boards and social media sites
- Thoroughly screen and interview candidates to determine which candidates meet or exceed client expectations
- Prepare and present compelling, candidate submittal packages for client review
- Follow up with hiring managers to obtain feedback on candidates and stay up-to-date on status of job openings
- Provide client feedback to candidates regarding positions for which they have been submitted
- Present offers to candidates on behalf of our clients
- Ensure Professional Recruiters are meeting expectations and taking action when necessary
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and comply with them in all work activities
Background Profile: Recruiting Manager
- Ability to build strong relationships – listening and empathy skills are critical
- Ability to lead and coach a team of Professional Recruiters to meet and exceed objectives
- Maintain a minimum of $200,000/year in Gross Margin
- Self-confident and a self-starter
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
- Staffing/recruiting or business development experience a plus
- A proven track record of success in a similarly competitive role
- Ability to quickly learn and master the use of multiple technical resources including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms & tools, and applicant tracking systems
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Superior problem solving, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and deal closing skills
- Drive and dedication to go above and beyond to achieve results
- Honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
