Parts Manager Details :
- Direct Hire position
- $70, to $100, / annually
- First Shift
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, and customer base.
- Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
- Ensure that parts inventory turns a specified number of times per year.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- Establish inventory management practices that focus on proper stocking levels, special order parts, and return policies.
- Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
Parts Manager Qualifications :
- Two to four years of related experience and / or training.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office.
