Job Title: Service Manager
Division: Duggan Mechanical Services
Reports To: Vice President
Summary:
The Service Manager position will oversee and manage all service operations in the day-to-day including quoted work, service calls, preventive maintenance, warehousing, and deliveries. Working with the service coordinators is essential to being able to properly and adequately schedule all labor resources to keep up with the quoted projects and service calls.
Core Responsibilities:
- Daily support to all service coordinators
- Work with coordinators to determine labor requirements for quoted work, preventive maintenance, and service calls
- Able to prioritize service calls
- Provide daily support for coordinators to maximize labor efforts and efficiencies
- Manage and work through open quotes to schedule with coordinators
- Work with Warehouse Manager to maintain inventory and materials for projects
- Supervise Permit Coordinator and maintain proper permits for all projects
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing
- Hands on service experience in the field
- Previous experience dispatching and managing service technicians
- Advanced customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Clear and concise communication with customers, department managers, employees
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
- Strong self-motivation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple appointments
