Email Marketing Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our company to help us expand the capacity of our growth marketing team to better reach our target audiences across multiple market segments and industries. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven, creative and detail-oriented. You will own and execute all aspects of email marketing campaigns, from ideation and development of content to audience targeting, testing, and deployment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the email campaign schedule to support promotions, product launches, events and lead nurturing
- Develop and manage email marketing strategies with the goals of increasing customer engagement, conversions, lifetime value and loyalty
- Design layout of emails, ensuring emails are optimized, and are user- and mobile-friendly
- Work with program managers, design team and marketing ops to develop, launch, test and track email campaigns
- Know the best practices of warming up IP addresses and ensuring delivery of relevant content to customers
- Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue
- Build and optimize segmentation and email content personalization strategies based on user behavior/intent, activity data, industry, and demographics
- Establish and optimize a testing agenda for A/B and multivariate testing frameworks for emails, landing pages and other engagement points
- Distribute emails through automation software including Hubspot and Mailchimp
- Test, stage and QA all emails, and ensure issues are identified and resolved before sending
- Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations
- Find creative ways to support business development including contact/list research and acquisition
- Support other digital marketing campaigns as appropriate including SEM, advertising and direct mail
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in B2B email marketing
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email design principles
- Experience using marketing automation platforms to deliver customized, multi-touch, multi-channel customer and prospect journeys
- Proven experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns
- Extensive knowledge of email best practices, technologies, and trends
- Basic understanding of segmentation, list management, and deliverability
- Experienced in campaign reporting and optimization based on relevant KPIs
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, sales, and legal teams
- Excellent project management skills specific to marketing
- Experience with Office 365
