What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Support Associate V position at EMC Insurance?

Essential Functions:
- Enters claims, payments and other information into claims system
- Scans documents, photos, and claim-related information into claims system
- Answers general claims phone inquiries
- Indexes and distributes incoming mail
- Types and mails forms, certified mailings and other correspondence for adjusters
- Enters loss notices and vendor information in claims system
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- One year of claims or office support experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Good keyboarding speed of 35-40 wpm
- Accurate data entry skills
- Good computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
- 10-key by touch skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
