Trautman & Shreve, Inc. (T&S) is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc. Trautman & Shreve is a full service mechanical contractor serving the Rocky Mountain region. T&S designs, builds, commissions and services mechanical systems, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and piping systems for private and public sector clients, including commercial, institutional, high tech, industrial, public assembly, and healthcare.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for directing the Purchasing Department, sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors; be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.

- Negotiate / Renegotiate T&C with vendors on quality, price, and performance.
- Reviews “Bill of Materials”
- Reviews and processes purchase orders
- Managing Pricing Agreements
- Lead and delegate tasks
- Train and mentor
- Track performance
- Develop and Implement policies and procedures along with purchasing management instructions.
- Identify opportunities of cost savings
- Learn new software / processes
- Coordinates with other department managers
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- BS/BA in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred or equivalent experience
- 5 years of proven working experience as purchasing manager or supervisor within the Mechanical and Plumbing Industry

Compensation Range: Minimum $75,000/year to a maximum $85,000/year
