What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at EMCOR Group Inc.?
Major Duties :
- Maintain acceptable appearance and cleanliness of offices and lunchroom.
- Maintain acceptable appearance and cleanliness of floors in offices and lunchroom.
- Clean and supply restrooms. Sanitize as necessary to preserve acceptable housekeeping integrity.
- Sweep shop floors and maintain clean room.
- Empty trash containers.
- Pick up trash in yard.
- Assist all production departments in performing housekeeping requirements.
- Clean and sweep record storage area.
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
- Clean or replace air conditioner filters in all units as needed to maintain the efficiency of the unit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Skills- Read and write English language, applicable equipment operation training.
Working Conditions- Cold, hot, dusty, dirty, noisy, requires lb. lifting ability, must be able to bend, lift, push / pull, climb, squat, crawl, and reach overhead, exposed to normal shop hazards.
