General Maintenance & Landscape Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled and responsible General Maintenance Technician to service the Grounds and Landscape Department at MolsonCoors facilities in Golden, Colorado. The right candidate can enjoy a steady 40 hours (w/OT options) of Monday thru Friday with a great team. The right candidate will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely service to multiple buildings within the MolsonCoors campus in Golden. The GMT will perform a variety of maintenance work in the Grounds department including: snow removal, landscaping, mowing, road and asphalt repairs, seasonal decoration installation and removal, and a wide variety of other duties. General Maintenance Technicians will have a solid understanding of how to operate, maintain, and repair grounds and snow equipment, the surrounding support systems, and a variety of miscellaneous equipment around the complex. Applicant must be willing to work outside, independently, and they should have strong communication skills and is able to foster strong relationships with customers, vendors and team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures, compliance, and protocols. Ensure that pre-task planning is complete for each and every task.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance checks and services and repairs on a variety of systems including grounds, landscape, snow removal, storm drains, and other systems around the complex
• Provide maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on snow plows, atv machines, vehicles, mowers, weed eaters, storm drains, and a variety of other systems.
• Installation and repairs on the following: signs, poles, bollards, landscape systems, holiday decorations, and much more
• Responsible for the operations, repairs and maintenance of skidsteers, front loaders, UTV/ATV, snow plows, vehicles, lifts, and much more
• Safe and efficient ability to work with equipment such as: lifts, cutting torch, hot work, welding equipment, drills, grinders, shovels, augers, mowers, and other industrial tools and equipment
• Complete documentation forms accurately and timely and submit to manager as requested
• Interact with customers in professional manner; follow-up communication with customer is critical
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, vocational or industry trade school required (Work experience may be substituted)
• 2 years of well-rounded landscape, grounds, and snow removal work experience required
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
