Description To maintain superior customer focus, we are seeking an EHS Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position will support compliance efforts, wellness initiatives and continuous EHS improvement strategies. For the right candidate, this role can lead to other challenging opportunities in human resources and safety. Responsibilities: - Provides administrative and project support for EHS training programs and EHS Manager - Maintains EHS software to include Velocity, MSDS Online, and any other related software - Coordinates all logistics for training programs, such as training materials, equipment and room reservations - Corresponds with employees on upcoming training events and EHS programs as required - Maintains accurate training records to ensure safety training is completed as required - Participates in safety meetings and maintains meeting minutes for all meetings as directed - Performs administrative tasks as needed (slide preparation ppt, filing, scanning, copying, laminating, ordering supplies, etc.) for TopWorx as directed by EHS Manager - Leads training for large groups of employees with relation to EHS events and/or training as directed - Reports to EHS Manager Education / Experience Required: - High school diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred - OSHA 30-hour certification desired - 1-2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, Safety discipline preferred - 1-2 years of experience in highly-visible administrative role required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: - Knowledge of manufacturing safety elements - Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook - Must be able to train large groups of various employee levels - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail abilities - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and manage large projects - Ability to work well with minimal supervision
