JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Marshalltown, IA locations, you will apply your technical background to identify and address business needs while managing a product's life cycle to ensure revenue, profitability, quality, and customer loyalty goals. This position will work cross-functionally with our product design teams, business leaders, world area marketing, and business development leaders to achieve business goals.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line
  • Assist with the evaluation of the new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications
  • Troubleshoot valve performance issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause
  • Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings
  • Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
  • Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School (students in any class status will be considered)
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
