The Goizueta Business School is in search of an Associate Director of Employer Relations working in the BBA Career Management Center (CMC). This position reports to the Assistant Dean & Executive Director, BBA Career Management Center. We seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated achiever with a student-centric approach. This individual has a proven track record of initiative and ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects while fostering a collaborative spirit.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
EMPLOYER RELATIONS (90%):
INDIVIDUAL CAREER COACHING & ACADEMIC ADVISING (10%):
- Provides academic advising and course planning for an assigned caseload of undergraduate business students; stays up to date on academic requirements and curriculum.
- May provide career education and counseling to undergraduate business students; may engage in 1:1 career coaching with undergraduate business students.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
- Coordinates special projects as necessary.
- Supports BBA CMC and BBA Program Office programming efforts.
- Some evening and weekend responsibilities.
- Some travel – approximately 25%.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and three years of experience in recruiting, career development, sales account development or related field.
- A master's degree (in business, higher education, counseling, or a related field) and more than 5 years of progressive experience is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience in developing new business and maintaining existing relationships.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with campus and external constituents, balancing competing priorities.
Master’s degree (in business, higher education, counseling, or a related field) and more than 5 years of progressive experience.
Knowledge of campus career or recruitment management software, Microsoft Excel, Qualtrics and PowerBI especially preferred.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
