Established marketing agency, EmoryDay, seeks an experienced Recruiter to manage its recruitment efforts with identifying and securing top talent for key job positions including Account Manager, Content Writer, Paid Advertising Specialists and Website Designer / Developer.
- 100% Remote
- Contractor position
- Estimated 10 to 25 hours a week.

- East Coast company with 9:00 - 5:00 PM EST office hours
In this position you will work closely with the Client Services Director to develop and manage EmoryDay’s recruitment initiatives through the human resources software platform BambooHR.
You will be the tip of the spear for all EmoryDay recruitment efforts by identifying best candidates, conducting the initial interview, and making recommendations on which candidates should move forward in the interviewing process.
Responsibilities:
- Review resumes generated by established in-house methods, identify best fit candidates, execute & perform initial phone screen, and make recommendations to the Client Service Director for second round interviews.
- Execute on self-developed, proven recruiting methods to steer qualified candidates into EmoryDay’s established recruitment workflow.
- Proactively build and nurture a pipeline of talent with backgrounds in digital marketing, project management, content writing, paid advertising and website design & development.
- Work directly with the Client Services Director to develop and execute on team member acquisition plans, with an eye for process improvement and efficiency
- Contribute to building a long-term, talent brand to attract and retain top talent from the marketing industry
- Maintain accurate reporting and systems for hiring and onboarding using BambooHR’s Hiring platform functionality.
- Develop and maintain high standards for interview quality and candidate experience
- Ensure company core values are instilled into every step of the recruiting process
Experience:
Our ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience recruiting for an agency or established firms preferably in the marketing industry. Must have successfully placed candidates in marketing account management positions.
Skills:
- Have previous success in staffing, ideally 3 years as a Recruiter at an agency or as an internal resource managing a company's recruiting efforts.
- Have experience placing talent with backgrounds in lead generation marketing, account management, content writing, project management, paid advertising and website design/development positions.
- Demonstrate ability to present information in clear, concise terms
- Exhibits professionalism over the phone to interact and maintain ongoing communication with both senior‐level management and prospective candidates.
- Proficient in sourcing candidates through resume database mining
- Expert interviewing skills; must be accustomed to meeting with job seeking candidates through conference call software (GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), on a regular basis and asking pertinent questions related to the position
- Must be an excellent judge of character; instinctively knows whether a potential client would be a good fit or not
- Experience with Social Media background checks
- Professional & timely communication skills through email, phone, and instant messenger
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills
- Proficient in electronic applicant tracking systems and expert knowledge in the area of Internet search tools and techniques. Knowledge of the BambooHR Hiring application is a big plus!

Work Environment:
This is a 100% remote position, all of our consultants work from their home offices and each provides their own computers to work from. The opportunity provides a certain amount of flexibility as EmoryDay is a firm believer in providing a positive work life balance environment.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm EST, however, this position may require 10 to 25 hours a week.
Compensation:
The compensation for the position starts at an hourly-rate based on experience.
