Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the a PT Medical Records Specialist:
- Maintain accurate order of charts
- Maintain HIPPA requirements regarding records
- Prepare closed records, filing current records, Maintain thin charts
- Coordinates the ordering of all housing stock and supplies with staff.
- Verifies supply orders at the time of delivery, inspects for damaged goods, and verifies against purchase orders.
- Accurately enters and maintains data relative to supplies using company software programs.
- Assists with daily and monthly physical inventory.
- Coordinates and validates outside rental of equipment.
- Possess working knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be accurate and detailed oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Interact in a professional yet warm manner with customers, families, visitors, and center personnel.
- CNA experience is appreciated not required
