Education Level Required: High School or equivalency diploma with business school or college studies preferred.
Experience Required: 1-3 years’ relevant experience.
Knowledge Required: Experience with data entry and running reports from HRIS systems. Proficient with Microsoft.
Office Suite (Word and Excel); Superior accuracy, organization skills, and follow-up skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention detail.
Duties Description
BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform HRIS transactional input/data entry for delivery of information to Payroll. Utilize HRIS report writing function, primarily producing standard reports. Assist with maintenance of Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Handle confidential matters and materials appropriately and with discretion. Work cohesively to provide support in the daily functioning of the Human Resources department by performing administrative duties and projects.
WORK PERFORMED:
Perform employee transactions in ADP for new hires/exits/status changes/insurance related/leave of absences; and other transactions as assigned.
Generate in ADP standard monthly & quarterly reports (e.g., EEO-4) plus exporting to MS platforms (e.g., Excel); Assist with annual and bi-annual reports as requested and as appropriate.
Develop user guides and system documentation.
Assist in recruitment by maintaining job title tables and creating job codes in HRIS system.
Assist with system conversions, upgrades, and customizations.
Maintain knowledge of HR processes and compliance.
Assist management in maintaining job description database.
Performs routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS.
Assist with ACA compliance work under the direction of HR management
Other projects assigned by HR management, as appropriate.

Position expected to work onsite and/or remote consistent with NYS and ESD guidelines and needs.
