General Labor - GC

KEY TASKS: Responsible for keeping the site clean and well maintained. Duties will include but are not limited to warehouse, janitorial and light maintenance activities. Assists in receiving, stocking and distributing materials, tools, and equipment appropriately. May transport materials between locations as required. Will package and prepare items for shipping. Will properly mark or label packages as required. Sorts and moves materials or items to appropriate locations complying with all company and safety standards. Drive a vehicle, forklift or use various other types of material handling machinery as authorized to move, pickup or place items in and out of warehouse. Responsible for maintaining the physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Notifying management of any needed repairs or equipment replacement. Must comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines, which may include but not limited to storing of chemicals, use of machinery and equipment. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Performs all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must maintain a valid, unexpired driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check and remain insurable at all times through company insurance program. Ability to work in varied and indoor and outdoor conditions which include heat, cold, dust, loud noises with use of personal protective equipment. General computer knowledge and efficiency preferred. Previous relative experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions; Must be able to become and maintain forklift certified. Communicates effectively with all levels of employees as necessary both verbally and in written form. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 60 lbs. This position requires walking, standing, twisting, reaching, bending, climbing and lifting. Compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends. Must have regular and punctual attendance.
