What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Warehouse Material Handler position at Employbridge?
NOW HIRING Lead Material Handler Company located in Largo.
Essential Job Functions:
- Overseeing/Leading other employees on the production floor.
- Inspects product quantities and colors of items brought to them for order verification.
- Move the orders off the wooden pallets to plastic if being brought into the production areas or move wooden pallets directly to shipping when necessary.
- Identifies orders on verified pallets and brings them to the Production Floor.
- The individual must be able to determine the correct location on the Production Floor by locating the Department on the orders belonging to the stock of the pallet being moved.
- Capable of understanding Pull Tickets (Orders)
- Coordinates with Warehouse Managers/Clerks/Forklift Drivers to move product when necessary
- Maintains pallet flow of orders to production floor
- Use scanner device to properly set orders in correct location systematically
Requirements
- Able to work in Warehouse Elements – high heat and cold temperatures
- Able to lift average of 40lbs repetitively
- High School Diploma preferred
- Verbal and Written communication skills
- Follow ALL Safety Requirements
Hours:
- 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am **(Overtime might come as late as 1 or 2am when needed)
**Some Saturdays might be required for a few hours when needed
Pay: $17/hr.
