What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Employees Only?
Employees Only is looking for passionate line cooks and prep cooks to begin immediately. Our menu is focused around upscale American cuisine with an emphasis on seasonality and fresh pasta.PM shifts available. Competitive starting salary based on experience.
Previous prep cooking experience in high end, fast paced restaurants is a plus but not mandatory. We are able to teach the skills, but are looking for someone with a passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow with the company. Strong organizational thinking and the ability to multi-task will be a crucial element of the position.
- Follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef
- Execute prep lists under the supervision of Chef
- Prior to service, prep dish elements such as stocks and garnishes.
- Perform duties in accordance with California Health and Safety Standards
- Sanitize workstations
- Mark and date all stored food
- Station clean up
- Daily organization of all kitchen areas
- Clean all surfaces on a station
- Store or dispose of all unused items
- Must be fully vaccinated and have a food handlers card
