Empowered Services desired outcome is to build a team of responsible, caring, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP's). As an Empowered Services DSP, you will be building life skills and creating opportunities with our unique group of customers and families.
Your goal will be to develop meaningful relationships that build confidence & independence and passionately help those with intellectual & developmental disabilities to live a more fulfilled and happy life.
Working one-on-one with each customer you serve, will allow you to assess his/her needs, meet desired outcomes, and tend to them accordingly with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging, and safe environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have 2 or more years of experience in a customer service role and prefer to have 1 or more years of experience in frequent communication and interaction with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must follow and comply with company policies/procedures and the Oregon OAR’s. Must pass a background check, be 18 years or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record, obtain full coverage car insurance, and have a good running vehicle.
