The Channel Partner Account Manager acts as a liaison between the company and its partners and is responsible for building, maintaining and managing long-term relationships with current and prospective partners. The Partner Account Manager plays a vital role in the revenue growth of Generac Grid Services as well as our partners. Additional responsibilities include day-to-day management of 3rd party asset partners and charged with expanding those relationships by identifying new programs and partners. As well as working closely with sales to establish new opportunities and drive priorities collaborating with product management to ensure technical integrations are aligned to customer priorities.
- Day-to-day management of 3rd party partners • Contract initiation, negotiation, & execution • Identify business opportunities with new and existing partners • Measure, track and report results of initiatives that are underway • Work closely with management and other analysts on important business issues & projects • Collaborate internally with product management and operations teams managing technical integrations • Work closely with product management team to help prioritize integrations based on business opportunities or market drivers • Manage commercial relationships • Compile month-end sales / business analysis. • Identify business opportunities with new partners • Work closely with management and other analysts on important business issues and projects. • Measure, track and report results of initiatives that are underway. • Research and analyze other comparable business organizations and operations.
Minimal Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales and/or account management • BS degree Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field • Experience working in software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the clean energy industry (i.e. solar, battery storage, EV charging or smart thermostat industries).
Knowledge:
- Experience managing programs or projects with external customers or partners • Able to establish and leverage relationships with internal team members and external business partners
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, and must be able to easily interact with people in either oral (including semi-formal presentation) or written form • Ability to effectively lead and achieve results through collaboration and influence even when there is no explicit reporting relationship • Can work both independently and with others, face-to-face and remotely
COMPENSATION Generac Grid Services is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in Denver, Colorado is $70,000.00 - $122,000 USD. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term incentives that may consist of the following: annual incentive plan, sales incentive plan, sign-on bonus, and equity grants depending on the role and level. Physical demands:
