Overview
Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protégé joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC. ETS is bolstered by second-tier subcontractors Information International Associates (IIA) and Amentum. ETS provides comprehensive enterprise and mission-embedded IT support for the $400 - $700 million Third-Party Telecommunications and Information Technology Support Services contract at Sandia National Laboratories. ETS is currently recruiting for a variety of cleared and uncleared IT positions with on-site and remote opportunities in New Mexico and California. As ETS is unpopulated, employees will work for one of the four companies listed above.
The Audio/Visual team works to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. This includes video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments and provide onsite Auditorium live event support. In addition, the team installs hardware and software to conference rooms across the laboratory.
Seeking an Audio/Visual technician with a background in Information technology and audio/video type systems and configurations. Applicant will be installing and maintaining Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs) and Skype equipment. Specifically seeking expertise with Teams, Skype, Windows, Networking, Classified Computing requirements, speakers, cameras, microphones, desktop configurations and KVM Switches. Applicant should have strong customer service skills and an ability to troubleshoot videoconferencing systems under pressure and time sensitive situations. Additional qualifications would include understanding the capabilities of Microsoft 365, Teams, Skype, Outlook, and scheduling meetings.
Responsibilities
- Multimedia setup experience (speakers, cameras, microphones)
- Windows Desktop configurations and KVM Switches
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business service and Communications Skills.
- Applicant must be able to install videoconferencing equipment and troubleshoot.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years’ demonstrated experience in a fast-pace, audio/visual support area.
- Intermediate-to-advanced MS productivity suite & collaborative applications expertise
- Intermediate-to-advanced desktop support & trouble shooting skills for Windows
- Excellent customer service skills.
Desired:
- Experience with Skype/Teams video conferencing & video conference room equipment.
- An Active DoE or DoD Clearance is desired.
