Sign On Bonus: $350 after 60 days
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Encore ADHC is looking to bring a new Kitchen member to our team. You will be working in a team environment to provide delicious, fresh, home style cooked meals to our senior clients. We like to be able to provide our clients with new but simple meals that can be made each morning. As a team you will serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to our clients Monday – Friday.
Our clients’ and employees’ safety are our top concern here. We require all employees and clients to wear a mask, practice exceptional hygiene and maintain social distancing when possible. Due to COVID-19 all clients and employees have their temperature checked and are screened every morning for any symptoms.
We will pay for all required training. As a Kitchen member you will also be required to obtain Food handling permit, CPR and First Aid training. All training is completed online and can be completed at the center if necessary.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Opening the kitchen (setting up the drink station, cutting fruit needed for the day, preparing sides needed for breakfast)
- Preparing cold foods, including vegetables, salads and fruits. This includes preparing these ingredients for more complicated recipes – such as chopping onions, peeling potatoes and crushing garlic.
- Preparing breakfast and a snack daily.
- Assisting with keeping the kitchen in a clean, orderly, and sterile fashion. Cleaning tasks include mopping floors, washing dishes, cleaning equipment or sanitizing workstations.
- Organizing, stocking, and dating newly delivered ingredients
- Our Kitchen team will work with other staff members to address client concerns, such as dietary restrictions, quickly preparing a minor replacement dish, such as a salad, or conveying any more complicated issues to the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Kitchen members need to exhibit great customer service skills, along with dependable characteristics. Communication with is essential to for teamwork and problem solving. Also, candidate must exhibit a willingness to learn and follow directions promptly and efficiently.
- Must also be able to lift at least 50 lb and spend extended hours on your upright.
Preferred, but not required:
- Previous kitchen experience.
- Current food handler’s permit - we pay for the permit/training

All participants and employees are required to wear a mask. Negative COVID-19 test required before start. Prescreens completed before entry.
