Leasing Associate

We are looking for a capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective renters. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. We need proactive people-persons who are well-versed and visible in the local community. The right candidate should be prepared to conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities. Responsibilities: Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing Showcase properties and their amenities to potential tenants in order to help secure rental contracts Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property • Manage the leasing process, identifying the needs of potential residents and addressing those needs to close the sale • Prepare lease agreements and maintain accurate records • Demonstrate an understanding of pricing, floorplans, amenities, and other offerings the community provides while touring prospects • Use your creativity to assist with outreach marketing and resident events Qualifications: Familiar with leasing regulations Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies A proven record of sales experience and success Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Leasing Experience is a plus, but not required • Strong written and verbal communication skills needed • Bilingual a plus • Social Media Knowledge is a plus • Leasing Experience a plus • Ability to work overtime and a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays • An unmatched commitment to customer service About Company: Encore At Tradition is an America Walks Lifestyle Community consisting of 415 luxury rental apartments and villas.
