Radiology Tech II
Position Highlights:
- Position: Radiology Tech II
- Location: Swedish Hospital – Chicago, IL.
- Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours: Hours vary upon the need of the department
General Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the manager and under the direction of the surgeons and the radiologists performs surgical diagnostic procedure in surgery, as needed, and other diagnostic x-ray procedures; trains and supervises students in the Surgery Department area.
What you will need:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- Certification: Current ARRT registration with certification in Radiography and Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Nuclear Safety accreditation required, Current CPR certification required.
- Experience: One year experience as a general radiographer with operating room experience or an NCH student Radiologic Technologist graduate with 3 months experience in surgery/OR required.
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
