- Position: Registered Nurse, PACU
- Location: PACU, Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: FT 36hrs/week
- Hours: Rotating Shifts
- Required Travel: may float to other sites during low volume days
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Specialty certification preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in specialty area preferred with evidence of progressive leadership
- Skills: N/A
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
- Would assume direct patient care if necessary
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
- Guide and direct a team of caregivers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
- Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
- Takes lead on clinical performance management
