About the position
We’re seeking a highly experienced Onboarding Specialist dedicated to making the transition to Altruist brokerage as seamless as possible, helping to drive high satisfaction, adoption, and retention for enterprise-level firms.
Experience in both operations and service of financial institutions will be a significant advantage. As the subject matter expert on Altruist’s core product offering, operational processes, and best practices, Onboarding Specialists must be adept at incorporating both strategic and tactical layers into their onboarding strategy to develop a trusting partnership with advisors and create a plan for moving their committed business to Altruist and getting the most out of the platform.
What you’ll do
- Lead and optimize onboarding strategies for large-scale enterprise firms
- Work with senior executives and stakeholders to customize enterprise-level onboarding solutions leveraging Altruist resources for a white-glove onboarding experience
- Serve as a trusted partner by utilizing expertise in the RIA industry and acquiring in-depth in-depth knowledge of Altruist products and operations
- Tailor approach to meet each customer’s specific needs; gain familiarity with all stakeholders and full staff
- Connect dots across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to optimize migration experience
- Ensure a timely and efficient migration of committed assets
- Create and execute personalized training for key features of the Altruist platform; meet the training needs of the various enterprise stakeholders and staff
- Strengthen customer relationships in partnership with Sales counterparts; work to deeply understand customer goals and pain points
- Anticipate customer questions; flag issues and risks early; escalate and pull in subject matter experts as needed to strategize the best approach to a resolution
- Manage multiple concurrent migrations of varying complexity
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of onboarding collateral and artifacts
- Champion customer needs internally to help prioritize product roadmap decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and morale
- Move seamlessly between migration efforts, project work, and other related duties
What you’ll bring
- 3 years of experience in a similar enterprise B2B role with 5 years of experience in the financial services industry and a deep knowledge of the Registered Investment Advisor landscape to address their unique challenges, drive continuous improvement, and deepen relationships through value-added onboarding support
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licensed (required)
- Proficient with core customer success tools (e.g., Salesforce, Google Apps, MS Excel)
- Proven track record in managing complex onboarding processes for large, complex RIAs to ensure successful outcomes and drive loyalty
- Successful track record of project managing complex enterprise onboarding efforts
- Ability to correlate customer pain points and needs to Altruist business value
- A creative problem solver with expertise in product development, the wealth management industry, and larger RIAs
- High emotional intelligence; ability to build trust quickly, prioritizes the personal touch
- Demonstrates executive-level presence and excels in communication, presentation, and active listening skills
- Flexible mindset and ability to rapidly adapt to new demands and challenges
- Adaptable in handling frequent changes, delays, and unforeseen events, while effectively communicating throughout
- Sense of urgency and bias to action without losing track of the details

Los Angeles, CA salary range $79,000 $113,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
