What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager position at Endevis?
The HR Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.
Essential Functions
- Develop and administer various plan and procedures for all company personnel.
- Coordinate Worker’s Compensation Casualty Audits.
- Plan, organize, and lead all activities of the department. Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
- Arbitrations.
- Responsible for insurance audits and resolution.
- Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt workers; write and place advertisements; work with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conduct reference checking; extend job offers; responsible for pre-employment screenings; conduct new-employee orientations.
- Monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
- Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in Management Team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum or five years human resource leadership experience.
