As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in proactively engaging with customers, promoting our fastener products, and driving sales through effective communication and relationship-building. You will be responsible for generating new leads, managing accounts, providing product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to represent our company in a positive manner and collaborate with our sales team will be key to your success.

Pay Range: $25-$28/hr. (Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factor which may include knowledge, skills, and experience)

Expected Hours of Work: This is an in office, full-time position working first shift Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively engage with existing and potential customers to promote fastener products, generate sales leads, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Assist customers in product selection, pricing, and availability inquiries, providing accurate and up-to-date information. Collaborate with the sales team to develop quotes, proposals, and sales orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements. Continuously follow up on orders, resolve any issues, and provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records, including contact information, sales activities, and communication history. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales pipelines.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and new sales opportunities. Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer needs and preferences.
  • Independently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, deal with ambiguity, and complete assignments given aggressive time constraints.
  • Resolve customer questions or concerns regarding sales and service.
  • Support Regional Manager and Regional teams as directed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to represent Endries in a positive manner to all levels of customer contacts and Endries associates.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive sales culture.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities to influence customer buying decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
  • Ability to evaluate analytical data pertaining to pricing and stock maintenance.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive and resilient attitude.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fastener industry or a similar field preferred.
