What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Endries?
Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and other class "c" commodities as well as a provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) worldwide, currently has an opening for a Branch Manager in Auburn, WA.
Essential Functions
- Support designated territory customer base with excellent service, profitable management, and effective business strategy for long-term stability.
- Review appropriate company statistics to provide valuable support to Endries customers.
- Strategically grow gross sales within embedded customers where possible.
- Assist in training new Account Managers and Service Representatives.
- Utilize the intricacies of internal departments, i.e. purchasing, warehouse, sourcing and inventory management, as needed to assure success of the business at the Branch/Team level.
Supervisory Functions
- Manage and train team members to meet/exceed job expectations and work towards achieving future improvement plans.
- Provide an environment where your leadership will promote employee satisfaction and reduce turnover percent annually.
- Effectively communicate intercompany business statistics toward goals that will motivate the performance of direct reports.
- Model and promote career opportunities to personnel to promote from within.
- Develop and coach others to achieve optimal business results.
Education/Training Required
- Associate degree in Business, or equivalent educational experience
- Business classes or equivalent
- Product knowledge of fasteners or like product and prior leadership experience a plus.
Experience/Skills Required
- Preferred Fastener experience with a minimum of Industrial Distribution / OEM Sales or Management background required.
- Driven individual who is self-directed and has the ability to motivate others.
- Display excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Excel and MS Outlook.
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
Salary
- $70k - $90k
