Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and other class "c" commodities and provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) worldwide, currently has an opening for a Inside Sales Manager in Montgomery, AL.
This is a full time, first shift position that includes a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, company matched 401K, and more). Some travel may be expected based on business needs.
Essential Functions
- Oversees strategic planning for the Inside Sales area. Ensures that plans complement and support established Company-wide goals including Branch offices.
- Conducts formal reviews of sales and marketing activities then corrects variances in performance.
- Develops and implements effective reporting and communication with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure they are appropriately informed of expectations, polices, and programs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Establishes and maintains good business relations with customers, vendors, and trade professionals.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to represent Endries in a positive manner to all levels of customer contacts and our internal leadership team
- Strong interpersonal, public relations, and oral presentation skills.
- Possesses business acumen and a broad based understanding of business models.
- Demonstrates solid technical and research skills.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Proven ability to independently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, deal with ambiguity and to complete assignments given aggressive time constraints.
- Demostrates excellent supervisory and leadership abilites.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree Business or related field prefered.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position or related marketing field.
